My name is J. Clay Cole, owner of CETCO. I am a 1993 graduate of Rhodes College and a 1996 graduate of Chicago-Kent College-of Law. I have been a licensed attorney since 1996 and have practiced real estate law since 1999. That year, I began working for Southern Escrow Title Company in Germantown (later absorbed by First American Title Insurance Company) where I handled thousands of residential real estate closings. I then transitioned to the National Commercial Services Division of First American, where I worked in commercial real estate law. In 2005, I began working for the law firm of Farris Mathews Branan Bobango Helen & Dunlap PLC (recent name change to Farris Bobango Branan PLC), where I specialized in residential and commercial real estate as well as all manner of business transactional matters.
Since 1999, I would estimate I have handled over 5,000 residential closing transactions, during which time I have developed the ability to tailor the closing specifically to the borrower’s age, experience and expectations. I created CETCO to be able to create a unique closing environment in which the client comes first. I am a title insurance agent for First American Title Insurance Company.
